'You Are Naked!': German Fitness Influencer Barred from Lufthansa Flight Over Sports Bra

A German fitness influencer has slammed Lufthansa on social media, claiming airline staff refused to let her board her flight because they deemed her outfit—a sports bra top and biker shorts—too revealing.

25-year-old Edda Elisa Pilz posted an emotional TikTok video recounting how she was stopped right at the boarding gate and told she looked "naked."

The content creator claims a Lufthansa employee blocked her path to the plane. When she asked for an explanation, the airline representative allegedly responded: "You have nothing on. You are naked!"

In the video, filmed directly inside the airport terminal, the blonde influencer is seen posing in tight black shorts and a low-cut white top with black trim. She also had a cropped grey hoodie draped over her shoulders. Edda insists her outfit was standard athletic wear; however, airport staff forced her to put on a jacket and zip it all the way to the top.

A Clash Amid the European Heatwave

The incident unfolded during an intense European heatwave, with temperatures breaking records across several regions. Edda pointed out that it was around 30°C (86°F) at her departure location.

The influencer emphasized that she was outraged not by the existence of a dress code itself, but by the hostile manner in which it was communicated to her. "If rules exist, I accept them. But then show me those rules," she argued.

According to The Mirror, Lufthansa representatives have already commented on the situation. The airline stated that the words allegedly used by the employee "do not align with corporate standards" and "could not have been spoken by their staff."

The company added that flight attendants and ground crew are trained to use their discretion when enforcing internal guidelines. However, the airline reminded passengers that they are expected to travel in clothing "appropriate for the nature of a public trip."

Ultimately, Edda—who commands a following of 639,000 on TikTok and 555,000 on Instagram—was allowed onto the flight. On Monday, she took to social media to thank her fans for the massive wave of support.
