As Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's wedding draws closer, new details about the highly anticipated celebration continue to emerge. The latest revelation concerns the massive security operation planned for what is expected to be one of the biggest celebrity weddings of the year.

According to TMZ, citing law enforcement sources, more than 120 police officers will be deployed to secure both the wedding rehearsal and the ceremony itself. The cost of the police presence alone is expected to exceed $160,000.

The outlet reports that approximately 70 detectives from various New York City police units will be assigned to the rehearsal and wedding, while more than 50 additional officers will be stationed around Madison Square Garden. Sources noted that the final number of personnel could still change.

TMZ previously reported that Swift had rented Madison Square Garden for at least three days. According to the outlet, the venue costs roughly $1 million per day to rent, excluding expenses for décor, production and other event logistics.

It remains unclear who will cover the cost of the police presence. According to TMZ, the issue has yet to be finalized, with the expense potentially being paid either by the wedding organizers or by city authorities if the security measures are deemed mandatory.
