The runway show offered a sharp contrast to the style of the previous creative director, Demna, who frequently relied on massive sets and theatrical effects that often distracted from the garments themselves.

Piccioli, by contrast, focused on refinement and razor-sharp clarity, ensuring the clothes unconditionally took center stage, leaving no room for mere performance.

In a comment to WWD, Piccioli explained his approach to modern couture: "Precision of cut, a minimum of materials, stripping away unnecessary structural complexities—all to achieve a perfect balance between fabric, form, color, and texture. It is made to look as if the garment was created in a single, effortless gesture."

The designer's restrained philosophy manifested in understated yet voluminous silhouettes. The core emphasis was placed on the dynamics of fabric in motion and how its texture interacted with natural light.
