Zendaya Reveals She Planned Her The Odyssey Premiere Look More Than Two Years Ago

Zendaya was one of the standout stars at the world premiere of Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey in New York, turning heads on the red carpet in a dramatic white gown featuring oversized angel-like wings. As it turns out, however, the look had been years in the making.

In an interview with E! News, the 29-year-old actress revealed that her longtime stylist, Law Roach, had selected the Matières Fécales gown more than two years before the premiere.

"Law reserved this dress a long time ago. I think it was about two years ago," Zendaya said.

She completed the ethereal look with Chopard diamond jewelry featuring more than 30 carats of diamonds.

Zendaya was joined at the premiere by her husband, Tom Holland, who also stars in Christopher Nolan's highly anticipated film. They were accompanied by fellow cast members Matt Damon, Anne Hathaway, Lupita Nyong'o, and Charlize Theron.

The actress admitted she still finds it hard to believe she's part of such an ambitious production.

"I'm incredibly grateful for this experience. I still can't believe all of this is happening to me," she said.

Zendaya also revealed that she got an early look at The Odyssey script before officially being offered a role in the film. According to the actress, Holland had already received a copy and brought it home.

"I cheated a little and peeked at it before I got the call. It was incredible and deeply moving. It seems impossible to adapt a work like that, but if anyone can do it, it's Christopher Nolan," she said.
