22:17 24 July, 2026Former CNN star turned documentary filmmaker and award-winning journalist Brooke Baldwin made a candid confession on her Substack platform.
According to Baldwin, she recently connected with four eligible bachelors on a dating app—one of whom used to "run an entire country." "I recently found myself in a situation where I had the opportunity to sleep with four different men," the 47-year-old Baldwin writes. "One flew in on a plane just to take me out to dinner. Another used to run a country. And the third... well, he was just insanely hot."
However, despite initial feelings of being flattered by the attention, the TV host ultimately decided to reject the advances of all four suitors. "The bottom line? Am I flattered? No, I'm not even surprised. Here’s the truth for you. And what did I do? I turned them all down," Brooke stated bluntly.
The journalist emphasized that while she is fiercely sex-positive, sleeping with multiple partners isn't what she needs at this stage in her life. "I value what I’m building right now far too much to let my energy be scattered in a dozen different directions," she explained.
Baldwin, who went through a divorce from British filmmaker James Fletcher in 2023, assured her readers that her perspective on intimacy hasn't wavered—she still loves sex and compares it to "oxygen." "Guys, you know me... I love sex. And if I may be so bold, I’m damn good at it... So casual sex is definitely on the table. I've thought about it a lot. It can offer a sense of freedom. It would almost certainly bring pleasure. After all, I’m a grown woman with choices."
Nevertheless, Baldwin regards her decision to turn down the mystery former world leader and the rest of her suitors not as "self-punishment," but as "protecting the life she is currently creating for herself."
