15:22 27 July, 202630-year-old Timothée Chalamet has found himself in a rather awkward situation because of his doppelgänger. Mexican content creator Eddie Veyro is capitalizing on his striking resemblance to the Dune and Wonka star to sell adult, explicit content on OnlyFans.

The 20-year-old creator goes by the handle @CallMeEddieV—a nod to Call Me By Your Name (2017), the film that originally propelled Chalamet to global fame. On his social media channels, Veyro openly markets himself as "the Chalamet lookalike everyone is talking about" and invites subscribers to explore the "uncensored side" of his life.

Veyro admitted that over the past three years, what started as a hobby evolved into his full-time job, earning him thousands of dollars a month. With his earnings, he has already bought an SUV and a house, with plans to launch his own restaurant business in the future.

However, Timothée Chalamet himself is far from thrilled with this marketing strategy. According to a source close to the actor, the star finds the situation uncomfortable, Daily Mail reports. "Timothée is aware of the account. Eddie's resemblance to him is uncanny, and the content is explicitly sexual. Timothée isn't concerned with Eddie's orientation or his audience, but rather the risk that people might mistakenly associate his name with content he has nothing to do with."

In an exclusive interview, Eddie Veyro clarified that he is not trying to impersonate the real Chalamet: "I never meant to offend Timothée or copy him. I'm not affiliated with him, and he hasn't endorsed my content. People kept telling me we looked alike, so I decided to run with it as a joke. I get that subscribers come for the resemblance, but I hope they stay for who I am."
