Creators of "Heated Rivalry" issue strict warning to fans ahead of Season 2 filming

The team behind the hit show "Heated Rivalry" has released an official statement urging fans to leave the cast and crew alone while working on the continuation of the series.

In an official message posted on the project's Instagram account and the page of production company Accent Aigu Entertainment, the creators thanked viewers for their love and support, but asked them to respect personal boundaries.

“If you happen to be near one of our shooting locations, please give our actors and crew the space they need to do their best work. Your support means everything to us. Help us make Season 2 amazing — we promise it will be worth the wait!”

Surge in crazy popularity and fan incidents

Filming for the second season kicked off in Toronto (the crew and lead actors Hudson Williams and Connor Storrie have been spotted on the city's streets since July). The massive success of the first season, which aired from November to December 2025, brought the actors not only global fame, but also issues with overly intrusive fans.

The actor playing Ilya Rozanov has started more strictly cutting off attempts by fans to take photos without permission.

• Paris scandal: Hudson Williams (Shane Hollander) recently ended up on video during a fierce conflict with suspected autograph dealers. The actor accused the stalkers of tracking him all the way to his home, calling their behavior "creepy and abnormal" after they burned a photo of him.

• TV hype: The actors' appearances on American late-night shows caused absolute chaos outside the studios. Host Seth Meyers admitted that before his broadcast with Connor Storrie, he received more personal ticket requests from viewers than at any point in the show's history — “except perhaps for Taylor Swift.”

The premiere of "Heated Rivalry" Season 2, based on Rachel Reid's novel "The Long Game," is scheduled for April 2027.
