Princess Ilyana Alia of Pahang has married British GT racing driver Christopher Froggatt. The wedding ceremony took place at the Shangri-La Hotel in Kuala Lumpur following the traditional Islamic marriage rites.

The 29-year-old bride, formally styled as Her Highness Tengku Puteri Ilyana Alia, is the daughter of the former King of Malaysia and sixth Sultan of Pahang, Sultan Abdullah, and former actress Julia Rais. Her groom, 32-year-old Christopher Froggatt, competes in British motorsport and is the co-founder of Tempesta Racing, which competes in the GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup.

For the wedding celebrations, the princess chose two elegant creations by renowned Malaysian couturier Datuk Radzuan Radziwill.

Ilyana appeared in a romantic lace gown featuring a high collar, a form-fitting silhouette, and long sleeves. Her look was completed with a half-up hairstyle and heirlooms from the Pahang royal collection—a dazzling Art Deco diamond tiara that once belonged to Queen Azizah, a diamond and emerald necklace, and drop earrings.

At the main reception, the princess wore an equally elegant outfit, walking to the traditional wedding dais (pelamin) through ivory-toned arches. The standout piece of this look was a 19th-century antique diamond tiara from the Pahang treasury, crafted in a classic garland style with floral and neoclassical motifs.

The ceremony included the recitation of prayers, an exchange of rings, and the presentation of wedding gifts. The Sultanate of Pahang issued an official statement wishing the newlyweds happiness, prosperity, and a long, thriving life together.
