Salma Hayek Officially Becomes a Grandmother
13:23 18 August, 2026Salma Hayek, at 59 years old, recently became a grandmother for the first time: her stepson, François Pinault Jr., along with his wife Lara Cosima Henckel von Donnersmarck, welcomed their firstborn child into the world.

Hayek herself has an 18-year-old daughter, Valentina, with her husband François-Henri Pinault (64), and she is also a stepmother to her husband's three children from previous relationships: 25-year-old Mathilde, 38-year-old François, and 19-year-old Augustin.
Salma shared a touching video on Instagram of herself holding her grandson in her arms and tenderly talking to him in Spanish. In the caption, the actress revealed that the baby was also named François, though she plans to call him "Panchito."
"We are overjoyed to welcome the fourth generation of François. Though I will be calling him Panchito. It seems he loves it very much, and I couldn't love him more," the actress shared.
