12:29 7 September, 2026Jennifer Lopez’s breasts are having one very busy summer.
It was only last week that J.Lo headed to a workout in Santa Monica, and once again found herself in front of the cameras wearing a tiny sports bra that could barely contain her curves — and looking absolutely sensational at 57.
That’s according to Daily Mail columnist Rob Shuter, the former publicist who worked with the star during her first breakup with Ben Affleck in 2004.
“The paparazzi, as luck would have it, were waiting nearby again. Incredible coincidence, some might think. But not me — because I know J.Lo in a way that most journalists who write about her never will.
“I used to work for her.
“As her publicist during the first ‘Bennifer’ breakup in 2004, I was the person who drafted the official statement announcing the end of their relationship. I saw firsthand how she dealt with enormous fame, deep personal pain and the demands of an insatiable press. Jennifer is one of the most media-savvy stars I have ever encountered in show business.

“Jennifer understands the celebrity machine better than anyone,” a Hollywood manager told me on my very first day working with her. “And she knows perfectly well that her body is one of the most powerful assets of the J.Lo brand.”
Think back to Jennifer’s recent trip around Italy with her 18-year-old twins, Max and Emme, whom she shares with her former husband Marc Anthony.
Look at her Instagram videos: there she is strolling through ancient streets with Emme in a figure-hugging corset dress; then taking a rooftop selfie, proudly displaying her cleavage; and later gliding through the evening on a gondola in a dress with a dangerously plunging neckline that vividly recalls that legendary, ultra-revealing Versace gown.
“Taking my coconuts on a road trip before they head off to college,” she captioned the post.
Sorry — her what?
Obviously, she meant her children. But after three decades in which Jennifer’s cleavage has played the role of one of her most reliable supporting characters, even I needed a little clarification.

It would be far too easy to dismiss all of this as simple vanity. But that interpretation completely misses what makes Jennifer so fascinating.
She is taking control of her own narrative again.
For years, the dominant storyline surrounding J.Lo was “Bennifer.” The whirlwind romances, the reunions. First everyone picked the story apart, then they tore it back down again.
“After breaking up with Ben, she wanted the main narrative to be J.Lo again — sexy, successful, independent and completely in control of her life,” a friend of the superstar told me.
And nothing, in my view, demonstrates that control better than her own body.
It sends an unmistakable message: she is not hiding away or sitting at home in tears. She is hot, booked solid and making enormous amounts of money. Very large amounts of money.
As Daily Mail reported last week, she has signed a deal as the new face of Dolce & Gabbana, reportedly worth around $20 million.
On top of that, Jennifer is planning an international tour next year, as well as starring in two films: the documentary project The JLo Show, focusing on her recent Las Vegas performances, and the crime thriller The Last Mrs. Parrish.
Jennifer is clearly determined to remind everyone that her personal machine is running flawlessly, without so much as a glitch.
And yet I’m going to add a note of caution.

She has previously spoken about moments when she pushed herself to the absolute limit, working herself to exhaustion and barely sleeping.
More than two decades later, I find myself wondering: why has a woman who has mastered almost everything in life still failed to learn the most important lesson — how to let go when the time comes?
“She simply doesn’t know how to stop,” says an insider close to Lopez’s circle. “When Jennifer is happy, she works. When she’s unhappy, she works even harder. Work is where she feels safe because work is something she can control.”
Unfortunately, there are things beyond J.Lo’s control.
You cannot control a divorce. You cannot control your children leaving for college. And certainly no one can control aging.
But promoting a movie? That can be controlled.
A tour? That can be controlled.
And so can the image you project to the outside world.
All these photographs are not really about flesh at all. They are about Jennifer reminding the world — and perhaps herself most of all — that she is still the one behind the wheel.
But Jennifer doesn’t need to record another hit, find another husband, sign another multimillion-dollar deal or squeeze herself into an impossibly tight sports bra just to prove anything to anyone.
At 57, perhaps the most radical thing Jennifer Lopez could show us is not her body.
Trust us, Jennifer: we’ve all noticed it already.
