15:37 7 September, 2026Rolex is officially putting four one-of-a-kind Cosmograph Daytona chronographs up for auction, each inspired by one of the four seasons. The exclusive collection will be sold by London auction house Phillips, with proceeds benefiting the Roger Federer Foundation and Re, the environmental organization co-founded by Leonardo DiCaprio.
All four watches are crafted from precious metals: 18-karat yellow gold, Rolex’s signature Everose gold, white gold and 950 platinum. Each model interprets a different season through a distinctive dial, precious gemstones and unexpected combinations of colors.
“Spring” features a green chrysoprase dial accented with hour markers set with purple diamonds. Its bezel is embellished with 36 trapeze-cut purple sapphires.
“Summer” stands out with a turquoise dial and pink sapphires, creating a vivid, almost tropical aesthetic.
“Autumn” features a mustard-yellow mookaite dial — a variety of jasper — framed by green tourmalines.
Completing the collection is “Winter,” with a pale blue opal dial. Its bezel features a seamless gradient of sapphires, shifting from deep blue to vivid fuchsia.
Each timepiece is set with 54 brilliant-cut diamonds around the bracelet lugs, along with individually selected gemstones serving as hour markers.
According to estimates cited by Hodinkee, each watch could fetch around 4 million Swiss francs, or approximately $5 million. If the four unique Rolex Cosmograph Daytona watches meet those expectations, the collection could generate roughly $20 million for charity.
The auction will be held by Phillips in London, with proceeds going toward philanthropic and environmental initiatives.
