“I’m Bored With It”: 68-Year-Old Sharon Stone Reveals She Has Been Living Without Sex for Years

Sharon Stone has made a candid revelation about her personal life. The 68-year-old actress said she has been celibate for quite some time and no longer wants casual relationships — she is no longer looking for a partner simply for sex, but for a true life companion.

The Basic Instinct star spoke openly about relationships on Mayim Bialik’s Breakdown podcast. Stone admitted that she has become largely disillusioned with dating in recent years and now prefers to wait for someone she genuinely develops feelings for.

“I’m a very good girl, but I haven’t dated anyone for a long time. And I’ve been the girl of bad boys. And I’ve been the girl of good boys. I’ve had good luck and bad luck, and sometimes I’ve had no luck at all. And for quite a long time, I really had no luck,” the actress said.

Stone then made an even more candid admission.

“I’ve been celibate for quite some time because I’m at a point in my life where I really only want to be with someone I care about. And now that my children are grown, I want a companion, not just somebody for sex. I’m kind of bored with that,” the star said.

Stone is the mother of three adopted sons: 26-year-old Roan, 21-year-old Laird and 20-year-old Quinn. According to the actress, she believes that a period of being single may be necessary in order to eventually find the kind of relationship she truly wants.

When asked whether there had been one great, once-in-a-lifetime love in her life, Stone answered with striking honesty: “There have been people I’ve loved in my life, but I don’t think I’ve met the great love of my life. No.”

The actress also spoke about an unusual prediction she received when she was just 23. At the time, Stone consulted a psychic who had previously worked with legendary singer Tina Turner.

According to Stone, the psychic accurately predicted that she would become internationally famous, but warned her that her personal life would be considerably more complicated.

“You’re not going to meet your person until you’re quite old, much older. And then he will be like you. In some way, you will recognize yourself in him. But it will only happen when you are much older — almost 70,” the psychic told her.
