Celine and Reebok Team Up: Iconic Freestyle Lo Sneakers Get a Luxury Makeover

Paris fashion house Celine has officially unveiled its collaboration with Reebok — the Freestyle Lo. The retro silhouette returns in a monochromatic palette spanning several shades, while the collection’s defining feature is its premium upper crafted from supple lambskin leather.

The original Freestyle Lo debuted in 1982 and quickly became a recognizable everyday sneaker. One of its signature features was the distinctive Reebok side branding.

For the new version created in collaboration with Celine, those elements have been removed so that nothing distracts from the sleek lambskin surface. The model is available in versatile shades of Optic White, Black, Butter, Beige, Peanut, Dark Brown, Oxblood and Fluo Red — ranging from classic white and black to rich burgundy and vivid red.

With their streamlined shape and smooth toe box, the sneakers are reminiscent of Celine’s elegant Jazz Shoes, while featuring a more athletic sole.

At the same time, the collaboration makes its presence known. The classic Reebok logo on the tongue has been reimagined as Celine’s signature branding, while symbols of both brands are placed above the heel at the back of the sneaker.

The design is completed by a distinctive detail: each pair comes with a limited-edition leather tag featuring the Celine and Reebok logos on opposite sides.

The Freestyle Lo by Celine/Reebok is priced at NT$25,500 on Celine’s official Taiwan website — approximately $800. The U.S. version of the website does not yet list a price for the model.
