Popular Japanese Adult Film Actress Found Dead in Tokyo: Hana Kuraki Was Just 25

Popular Japanese adult film actress Hana Kuraki, who was just 25 years old, has reportedly taken her own life. Her body was discovered on Saturday in an apartment in Kabukicho, a Tokyo district known for its nightlife and red-light district.

According to Tokyo Reporter, Kuraki was found by one of her friends at an apartment owned by the proprietor of a bar in Kabukicho.

The bar owner, a man named Sakito, later published a detailed post on social media about the actress’s death. He expressed his deep condolences to Kuraki’s family and loved ones while also denying earlier reports that he was the person who discovered her body.

According to Sakito, it was Kuraki’s friend who found her body and then contacted the apartment owner. Sakito went to the scene to help deal with the situation and speak with officers from the Tokyo police.

Sakito also said that Kuraki had previously opened up to him about problems in her relationship. At the same time, he urged people not to spread rumors or speculate about the circumstances surrounding her death.

“I hope that misinformation or speculation will not cause further harm to the deceased or to the people around her,” he said.

“I also hope for a world where people do not use violence to control others or push them into such a desperate state,” Sakito added.

Hana Kuraki began her career in the adult film industry in 2024. She later became relatively well known in Japan and was scheduled to take part in an adult entertainment industry exhibition in Taiwan later this year.

However, in June, Kuraki unexpectedly announced that she was temporarily suspending her career. She said she had suffered injuries to her face and jaw in a traffic accident.

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of the 25-year-old actress. People close to Kuraki have urged the public to refrain from spreading unverified information about the tragedy.
