Scooter Braun Wants to Marry Sydney Sweeney: ‘He Sees Her as the Modern-Day Marilyn Monroe’

Music mogul Scooter Braun appears to be very serious about his relationship with Hollywood star Sydney Sweeney — according to a Page Six source, he wants to make the actress his wife.

The source claims that Braun could propose to the 29-year-old actress within the next six months.

“He sees her as the modern-day Marilyn Monroe,” the insider told Page Six. “He really wants to marry her. He follows her around and charters private jets. He’s going to keep pursuing her until she marries him,” the source added.

Scooter Braun and Sydney Sweeney met last year in Venice at the wedding of Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez, which took place in June 2025. Since then, their relationship has gradually grown closer.

The pair were recently spotted together with Braun’s children — 11-year-old Jagger Joseph, 9-year-old Levi Magnus and 7-year-old Hart Violet. They were seen in Los Angeles, and Sweeney later spent time with Braun’s children in New Zealand.

Last week, Puck reported that Braun played an important role in helping the actress find a new manager. According to five sources, he arranged a meeting between Sweeney and Kevin Huvane of CAA, bypassing her agent, Jennifer Miller. The actress subsequently signed with him despite interest from rival agencies.

Sweeney was previously engaged to Jonathan Davino. They split in January 2025.
