Elon Musk’s former lover Ashley St. Clair has made explosive claims about the billionaire’s desire to have even more children. According to St. Clair, Musk spoke of wanting to create an entire “legion” of heirs ahead of an anticipated “civil war.” St. Clair discusses their relationship in Alex Gibney’s nearly four-hour documentary Musk.

The 28-year-old influencer claims that early in their relationship, Musk repeatedly encouraged her to have a child. She also compared what she alleged was his communication with women through private messages to a “Gatling Gun of Sperm.” Musk and St. Clair share a son.

Musk did not participate in the making of the documentary and previously dismissed the film as a “hit piece.”

St. Clair’s comments appear in a chapter of the documentary titled “The Legion,” which explores Musk’s views on fatherhood and his relationships with the mothers of his children.

Initially, St. Clair said she was wary of having a child with such a powerful and controversial public figure. She gave birth to their son, Romulus, in 2024. It was not until a year later that Musk was publicly identified as the boy’s father, after St. Clair herself announced it.

St. Clair also spoke about the end of her relationship with Musk, claiming that she refused to sign a non-disclosure agreement that was connected to discussions over child support. She had previously alleged that she was offered $40 million to sign the agreement and remain silent.

Musk rejected the claim on X, writing: “She was never offered such a thing.” No publicly released agreement has emerged to substantiate St. Clair’s claim that she was actually offered the payment.

According to St. Clair, her ultimate decision was driven by a desire to show her children that financial security should never be more important than honesty.
