Guy Ritchie Unveils First Trailer for Wife And Dog: Benedict Cumberbatch and Anthony Hopkins in a Deadly Battle for an Inheritance

Director Guy Ritchie and film company Black Bear have officially unveiled the first teaser trailer for Wife And Dog, a tense thriller about greed, an inheritance battle and betrayal among Britain’s elite.

Ritchie serves as the film’s writer, director and producer. The movie stars Benedict Cumberbatch, Rosamund Pike, Cosmo Jarvis, James Norton, Paddy Considine and Anthony Hopkins.

At the center of the story is the Fairbairn family, whose ruthless pursuit of wealth leads to a deadly battle over an inheritance and control of the family business.

In both atmosphere and subject matter, the film continues themes Ritchie previously explored in The Gentlemen, plunging viewers into the brutal and unforgiving world of the British aristocracy, where money, power and family ties become the driving forces behind betrayal.

Wife And Dog is scheduled for a wide theatrical release in the United States on February 19, 2027.
