Stars Take Over Milan: Cardi B, Jennifer Lopez and Alicia Keys Hit the Vogue World Runway
13:16 23 September, 2026On September 22, the fifth edition of Vogue World took place at Milan’s Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, where Fashion Week is currently underway. This time, the spectacular production celebrated Italian craftsmanship and innovation, transforming the runway into a dazzling parade of celebrities.
The stars did not simply take their seats in the front row — they stepped onto the runway themselves, turning the show into a grand theatrical spectacle.
The opening act, titled “The Craft Revolution,” was led by Gigi Hadid. The model appeared in a striking printed dress, after which one celebrity after another took over the runway.

J Balvin strutted out in a pink printed suit with a metallic sheen, followed by KPop Demon Hunters star EJAE, who made a dramatic entrance in a strapless black-and-blue gown with voluminous ruffles.
The next act, “The Industrial Revolution,” brought out 18-year-old Levi Alves McConaughey, the son of Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves. He showcased not only a stylish gray suit but also his dancing skills. Actor Sam Claflin joined him on the runway.
Adria Arjona also took to the runway — directly in front of her boyfriend, Jason Momoa, who was watching the show from the front row.
The third act, “Made in Italy,” was one of the evening’s biggest highlights.

Cardi B appeared in an archival Versace dress from the Spring 2018 collection. The design incorporated pop-art interpretations of covers from previous issues of the magazine, while the singer’s look was completed with Tiffany & Co. jewelry.
Tennis star Aryna Sabalenka also appeared in the segment wearing Gucci, alongside Bridgerton star Simone Ashley.
But Jennifer Lopez delivered one of the evening’s most spectacular transitions.

The 55-year-old singer stepped onto the runway in a luxurious black Dolce & Gabbana Alta Moda Roma 2025 gown adorned with intricate decorative details. She completed the look with diamond jewelry from the same house and strappy stiletto heels.
Lopez did not settle for a conventional catwalk appearance. She performed a choreographed routine right on the runway, turning the fashion show into a full-scale performance.
The fourth act was titled “The Age of Intelligence.” It featured MGK, with his upper body covered in tattoos, slicked-back blond hair and an orange Byblos jumpsuit paired with Camper shoes. He was joined by dancing robots.
Alicia Keys took center stage for the finale. The singer appeared in a striking creation designed by Francesco Risso and Alex Sossa of Bureau of Imagination. The dress combined satin, chiffon, georgette and crêpe de chine, with its construction embellished with threads and beads.

As Keys performed Donna Summer’s I Feel Love, actress Madelaine Petsch and models Helena Christensen, Vittoria Ceretti, Sunday Rose Kidman-Urban, Iris Law and Scarlett White appeared on the runway, all dressed in pristine white looks.
Vogue World first launched in New York in 2022. The show then traveled to London, Paris and Los Angeles, with San Francisco set to become its next destination in 2027.
According to Francesca Ragazzi, head of editorial content at Vogue Italia, the Milan show offered an opportunity to tell a global audience about the timeless history of Italian craftsmanship and ingenuity — a particularly symbolic message in an era of rapid advances in artificial intelligence.
