Diamond Showdown in Milan: Georgina Rodríguez and Aryna Sabalenka Compare Their Jaw-Dropping Engagement Rings

A true diamond showdown unfolded at the Gucci show during Milan Fashion Week, when Georgina Rodríguez and Aryna Sabalenka found themselves side by side and decided to compare their spectacular engagement rings. Both pieces are so extravagant they could easily have been stars of the fashion show themselves.

Sabalenka arrived in an elegant white satin suit, while Georgina opted for a daring all-black look featuring a fitted leather blazer and mini skirt. But, of course, the most eye-catching accessories on both stars were their enormous engagement rings.

In a video filmed by Vanity Fair Italia, 28-year-old Sabalenka held her hand next to Georgina’s, taking a close look at her dazzling ring.

“Can I take a picture of yours and send it to mine?” the tennis star asked with a smile.

She then added that she wanted to show her fiancé “what it should really look like.” The two stars subsequently posed together for photographers, putting both spectacular pieces of jewelry on full display.

Sabalenka’s own ring is a remarkable piece of jewelry in its own right. In March, the tennis star announced her engagement to Georgios Frangoulis, founder of Oakberry. According to the Daily Mail, the one-of-a-kind ring features an oval diamond weighing more than 12 carats and surrounded by emeralds. All the stones are set in platinum.

The choice of emeralds was no coincidence: Sabalenko has said that the gemstone is her favorite.

Yet next to Georgina’s ring, even a 12-carat diamond looks almost modest. Her engagement ring, a gift from Cristiano Ronaldo, is estimated to weigh around 37 carats.

The football star proposed to Georgina in August 2025 after nearly a decade together. A year later, the couple officially married: on August 11, 2026, Ronaldo and Rodríguez exchanged simple gold bands in a civil ceremony.

Georgina has previously admitted that her enormous diamond came as a genuine surprise. In an interview with Elle Spain, she joked that after nearly 10 years of waiting, it was “the least he could offer me.”

Now the two spectacular pieces of jewelry came face-to-face in one of Milan’s most glamorous settings — the Gucci show. And while Sabalenka may simply have been looking to borrow a little inspiration for her next gift, their spontaneous “ring battle” instantly became one of the most dazzling moments of Milan Fashion Week.
