Emily Ratajkowski knows how to be the perfect plus-one — especially when it comes to the red carpet.

The 35-year-old model turned heads at the 2026 MTV Video Music Awards, attending as the date of her boyfriend, director Romain Gavras, and delivering a daring fashion statement. For the occasion, EmRata chose a provocative knitted dress by George Troch, featuring extreme side cutouts that left almost her entire torso exposed.

The model shared photos from the evening on Instagram, revealing that she had attended the ceremony as a “fan” of Romain Gavras, Surkin and Yung Lean.

Her official status at the event was particularly amusing: her VIP pass explicitly identified her as Romain Gavras’ “plus one.”

And Ratajkowski’s outfit certainly lived up to her role as the evening’s ultimate plus-one.

The black-and-red knitted dress left very little to the imagination.
