A Billionaire, Erdoğan and Women From Influential Families: The Secrets of Trump’s Former Lawyer’s New Husband

Alina Habba’s new husband, Turkish billionaire Turhan Mildon, has attracted attention because of his business connections and previous romantic relationships.

Habba, 42, who previously served as Donald Trump’s personal lawyer, married for the third time over the weekend. Her chosen partner is 29-year-old Turhan Mildon.

According to The Daily Beast, Mildon has a history of relationships with women connected to political circles, followed by lucrative business deals.

Through his company Miller Holding, the 29-year-old businessman has established close ties with officials in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Venezuela through construction contracts.

His family is also considered a close ally of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

Mildon’s company, Milvest, has secured approximately $1 billion worth of construction contracts in the Congo since 2021. According to the publication, the opportunity to enter the market arose after Erdoğan introduced the businessman to Congolese President Félix Tshisekedi.

Mildon himself, meanwhile, prefers to maintain a relatively low public profile in Turkey and rarely appears in the media or gives interviews. He has explained that his business is directly consumer-facing and therefore does not require a public profile.

Before marrying Habba, Mildon was married to Betül Gürsoy, the daughter of the late owner of Gursoy Group, the company that built Istanbul’s Camlıca Mosque. The project was personally commissioned by Erdoğan. Mildon and Gürsoy divorced in 2024.

After that, the businessman dated the daughter of Remigio Ceballos, a prominent Venezuelan admiral who currently serves as Venezuela’s ambassador to China.

Despite his history of relationships with women who have political connections, Mildon insists that his marriage to Habba is based solely on their feelings for each other.

“There is no political motivation behind this marriage,” Mildon told Middle East Eye.

Habba and Mildon met earlier this year at an event at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, where Mildon is a donor.

On Saturday, they held a lavish wedding at the Waldorf Astoria in New York. According to the publication, the celebration was planned in just around three months.

Among the guests were prominent MAGA supporters, including FBI Director Kash Patel, U.S. Attorney General Todd Blanche and Margo Martin, one of Trump’s aides.

Habba was born in New Jersey. She previously lived near Trump’s Bedminster club in the affluent town of Bernardsville. However, in February 2026, she put the house on the market and, according to the publication, quietly divorced her millionaire husband, Gregg Reuben.

Habba subsequently moved into a mansion near Trump’s Mar-a-Lago golf club — around the same time she is believed to have begun her relationship with her current husband.

According to The Daily Beast, Habba and Mildon met after her divorce at an event at the Kennedy Center, where the Turkish businessman serves as a donor.
