Rihanna’s One-Year-Old Daughter Recreates Her Iconic Met Gala Look

Rihanna and A$AP Rocky’s daughter is already showing off an impressive sense of style at such a young age. To celebrate little Rocki Mayers’ first birthday, the singer shared a series of rare photos of her daughter on Instagram, including one in which the one-year-old sported a miniature version of one of her mother’s most iconic outfits.

The 38-year-old singer revealed that Rocki had dressed up in a custom-made, pint-sized replica of the lavish yellow gown designed by Chinese couturier Guo Pei, which Rihanna famously wore to the 2015 Met Gala. The dramatic ensemble, complete with an extravagant train, caused a sensation at the time and became one of the most talked-about looks in the event’s history.

The little girl did more than simply recreate her mother’s iconic appearance — she also captured the atmosphere of that unforgettable evening. Rihanna arranged a special red-carpet photoshoot for her daughter, complete with paparazzi-themed backdrops.

Every detail of Rocki’s outfit was carefully considered. Her miniature cape featured a bright pink satin lining and was paired with an embellished headband reminiscent of the striking headpiece Rihanna wore to the Met Gala.

It seems the singer is already passing her love of daring fashion experiments on to her daughter. In April, Rocki made her magazine-cover debut, appearing alongside her mother on the cover of W magazine. For the photoshoot, the little one wore a Dior diaper.
