Le Labo Unveils a Concrete Diffuser: Scent, Light and Industrial Chic

Le Labo is turning the everyday ritual of scenting your home into a true design experience. The brand has unveiled the Concrete Home Diffuser, a limited-edition version of its iconic home diffuser, this time encased in a striking brutalist concrete shell.

While previous Le Labo models featured understated wooden bases, the new version embraces a bold industrial aesthetic. Each housing is cast, polished and hand-finished with a protective coating in the United States. Natural variations in color and subtle air pockets in the concrete make every piece unique — no two diffusers are exactly alike.

Over time, the material will develop a natural patina, taking on an increasingly individual character. In this way, a functional household object becomes something of a design heirloom, growing more beautiful with age.

But the Concrete Home Diffuser is more than a striking interior object. Inside, it houses technology that combines fragrance and light into a single sensory experience.

A specialized nebulizer transforms Le Labo’s signature fragrance oil into an ultra-fine cloud of scented mist.

Ambient illumination comes from a vintage Edison bulb. Its intensity is synchronized with the diffuser’s operation: as the fragrance flow becomes stronger or softer, the light correspondingly grows brighter or more subdued.

The set includes the concrete diffuser base, SANTAL 26 fragrance oil, a diffuser lamp, a light bulb and a waxed-canvas tote bag. Replacement fragrance-oil bottles and bulbs are available separately.
