Kylie Jenner to Play Murdered Bride in New Hulu Thriller, with Kim Kardashian as Executive Producer

Kylie Jenner is gearing up for her first major acting project. The reality star will take the lead role in Hulu’s upcoming thriller Bachelorette Weekend, with her older sister Kim Kardashian serving as an executive producer.

According to Deadline, Kim was the first to see the project as the perfect acting opportunity for her younger sister. The script initially came to Kardashian as a potential producing project, but she quickly decided that the role would make an ideal debut for Kylie.

Kim passed the script on to her sister — and the two joined the project almost immediately.

At the center of the story is a bachelorette weekend that turns into a bloody nightmare. Kylie will play a bride who is found dead in a swimming pool. Her closest friends become the prime suspects, while the series gradually unravels the events that led to her murder.

The story is based on an as-yet-unpublished novel by Flora Collins. According to the official synopsis, the plot begins with a carefree weekend ahead of a wedding that ends with the bride’s death — leaving each of her closest friends under suspicion.

Kylie’s character is described as something of a “guiding star” of the series: through her character, viewers will piece together what happened step by step and uncover the truth about the fateful weekend.

For Kylie, the series will mark a major new chapter in her career. Until now, she has appeared on screen primarily as herself, including in the films The Moment by Charli XCX and Ocean’s Eight. Now, for the first time, she will take on a fully fictional character.
