10:48 9 October, 2026The premiere of Season 8 of The Kardashians was packed with drama, heated exchanges between the famous sisters, and an unexpected attack on a Hollywood star. Kourtney Kardashian went on an emotional rant about Jennifer Lawrence, while Kim Kardashian found herself in an awkward situation after being pranked by Khloé.
The 47-year-old reality star lashed out at the 36-year-old actress after Lawrence described her as “more annoying than ever.”
“Fuck Jennifer Lawrence!” Kourtney declared while sitting in a car with her friend Simon Huck.
The conversation turned to Lawrence after Huck mentioned a letter the actress had sent to Kourtney and asked who had given her the reality star’s email address.
Viewers were then shown a clip from a Vanity Fair video filmed last year, in which Lawrence took a lie detector test while being questioned by Robert Pattinson. When the actor showed her a photo of Khloé Kardashian and asked whether she was genuinely her favorite member of the famous family, Lawrence said yes.
However, her affection for Khloé apparently didn't stop her from making some rather harsh comments about Kourtney.
“Kourtney annoys me more than ever. She drives me absolutely insane because she has to announce everything. Like, ‘I’m not wearing clothes anymore!’” Lawrence said, mimicking Kourtney. “Just wear whatever you want. You don’t need to make an announcement about it.”
Kourtney was furious when she heard the comments. She recalled discussing the incident with her mother, Kris Jenner.
“So she thinks she’s one of my sisters? I’m going to punch her so hard!” Kourtney recalled saying.
According to Kourtney, she even suggested that her mother invite Lawrence over so she could confront the actress the same way she would one of her own sisters.
Kourtney admitted that Lawrence’s remarks had particularly upset her because she was at home breastfeeding her baby at the time.
However, the story later took an unexpected turn. Kourtney revealed that Jennifer had asked Kim for her email address and written to her, saying she felt “like one of your sisters.”
The friendly message prompted Kourtney to rewatch the video. On a second viewing, she no longer found Lawrence’s comments particularly offensive.
“Oh, okay, it’s not that bad,” she admitted.
Kourtney explained that she had been especially vulnerable at the time because episodes of the reality show were airing in which she felt everyone was ganging up on her.
