American rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs was rushed from federal prison to a hospital after reportedly suffering a head injury in a fall. TMZ reported the incident, citing sources.

According to the outlet’s sources, the 56-year-old musician was taken by ambulance from the Federal Correctional Institution Fort Dix in New Jersey early Saturday morning. He was conscious and able to speak before being returned to prison.

The circumstances surrounding Diddy’s reported injury remain unclear.

The rapper’s representative, Juda Engelmayer, told the Daily Mail that his team was working to establish what had happened.

“We are aware of reports concerning Sean Combs and are currently working to confirm the circumstances of the incident. Sean’s health and well-being are our top priority. We are grateful to everyone who has reached out,” he said.

Last year, Diddy was sentenced to four years and two months in prison after being convicted on two counts of transporting individuals across state lines for the purpose of prostitution. A jury found him guilty on those charges but acquitted him of more serious allegations involving racketeering and sex trafficking.

Combs was initially expected to be released in May 2028, but his projected release date has been revised several times.

Last week, it emerged that the rapper would have to spend even longer behind bars. According to the U.S. Federal Bureau of Prisons, his release date is now scheduled for March 2, 2028 — approximately six weeks later than the previously listed date of January 21, 2028.

The change came shortly after reports that Diddy had been placed in solitary confinement again, following allegations that he had received special privileges while incarcerated.

NBC News previously reported claims that Combs was receiving preferential treatment in prison. According to sources cited by the outlet, some inmates allegedly ran errands for him, prepared his meals, cleaned his cell, and even offered him massages.

Following the reports, the rapper was reportedly returned to solitary confinement. Sources told TMZ that the move was consistent with standard procedures while prison officials conduct an internal investigation.
