Jennifer Aniston Accused of a Humiliating Prank: Director Claims Actress Gifted Her a Rhinestone-Covered Dildo

Director Penelope Spheeris has accused Jennifer Aniston of allegedly giving her an unusual gift intended to humiliate her in front of the film crew. According to the 80-year-old Wayne’s World filmmaker, the gift was a rhinestone-covered dildo presented in a gift box on the set of the 2011 television film Five.

“It was a malicious gift — a dildo that was meant to humiliate me in front of the entire crew,” Spheeris said on The Moynihan Report.

Aniston allegedly did not hand the gift to the director personally. However, Spheeris is convinced that the actress was behind the incident. As evidence, she recalled attending the Directors Guild of America Awards, where, she claimed, Aniston appeared with a similar gift box.

A source close to the situation told the Daily Mail that Aniston “doesn’t remember ever giving such a gift.” The source also questioned Spheeris’s version of events, noting that if the actress had genuinely wanted to give her something, she could have included a card.

According to Spheeris, the incident happened at the end of a day of filming. An assistant director asked her to sit down, and the entire crew gathered around her. A producer then approached with a gift box.

“I thought, ‘How sweet, how touching.’ I opened it — and there was a freaking dildo inside. And I had to open it in front of the entire crew. Thank you!” the director recalled.

What particularly outraged her was that the sex toy was decorated with rhinestones.

“It had rhinestones glued all over it. You couldn’t even use it,” Spheeris complained, prompting laughter from host Michael Moynihan.

The director explained that she finally connected the gift to Aniston after attending the Directors Guild of America Awards. Both women, along with fellow Five directors Demi Moore, Alicia Keys and Patty Jenkins, best known for directing Wonder Woman, had been nominated for their work on a television film.

According to Spheeris, Aniston approached her at the ceremony carrying a box similar to the one that had contained the sex toy.

“She comes up to me, and I ask, ‘What have you got there, another dildo?’ She says, ‘No, this is a gift for Marta Kauffman,’” Spheeris recalled, referring to the co-creator of Friends.

“But it was the same box. The same gift box. So those must be Jennifer Aniston’s signature boxes. So yes, I could get sued for this, but I don’t care,” Spheeris declared.
