12:50 21 October, 2026The Prince and Princess of Wales dazzled at a state banquet hosted by King Charles III at Windsor Castle on Tuesday evening in honor of Sultan Haitham bin Tariq Al Said of Oman.

Joining the King in welcoming guests were Prince William, Kate Middleton, Queen Camilla, Princess Anne and her husband, Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, as well as the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester. The banquet took place in St George’s Hall at Windsor Castle.

Kate opted for an ethereal pale yellow Elie Saab gown featuring a cape and a long train. She completed the look with her beloved Lover’s Knot Tiara, diamond earrings and a bracelet that belonged to the late Queen Elizabeth II.

Prince William wore white tie and the Windsor Court full-dress uniform. He also sported the blue sash of the Order of the Garter, complete with a miniature badge, along with other decorations.

Queen Camilla looked elegant in a purple chiffon gown by Fiona Clare. Charles III wore the sash of the Order of Al Said, an honorary distinction presented to him by the Sultan of Oman earlier that day.

A total of 160 guests were invited to the lavish dinner. The menu featured Scottish langoustines and Cornish crab, followed by roast Windsor pheasant stuffed with cabbage. For dessert, guests were served individual baked Alaska creations featuring ice cream, Balmoral plums and honey from the Windsor estate.
