08:29 26 October, 2026Flowers, banners, flags, singing and dancing - this was the mood at dawn at Zvartnots Airport, where a group of fans and friends came to welcome Nare, the winner of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2026, representing Armenia. The 13-year-old singer brought victory to her homeland with her song "Boo", in which she talks about her fears.
Nare's song and performance inspired the Eurofans so much that they voted overwhelmingly for the beautiful and talented girl, who, despite her young age, dedicated her first victory to Armenia.
Although it was late, the airport was in high spirits and lively. Nare was welcomed to the rhythms of her winning song. Our delegate arrived in her homeland in high spirits and immediately found herself in the center of everyone's attention.
Nare also managed to answer NEWS.am STYLE's questions. The singer is still overcome with emotion, but says she is happy to have returned to Armenia, although she already misses the friends she gained at the contest. "I missed everyone very much, I missed Armenia very much, and I am very happy that my friends came to meet me," said Nare.
The singer fulfilled her childhood dream, not only representing Armenia in the prestigious contest, but also becoming its winner. Nare is not in a hurry to talk about new dreams yet, but she is sure that she will have high goals, which she will also achieve successfully.
What awaits Armenia after its victory? Will the contest come to Armenia for the third time? The answers to these and other questions, as well as the impressions of other members of the delegation, are in our report.
