Whoopi Goldberg has found a compelling reason to take on animated projects: they do not even require her to get dressed. The 70-year-old actress admitted that she particularly enjoys voice acting because she can record her lines from home, wearing nothing but her underwear. Apparently, she has very specific ideas about what makes for ideal working conditions in Hollywood.

In an interview with W Magazine, the actress explained why she has been increasingly drawn to voice-over projects lately. Among them is Amazon's animated series Kevin. “It's because I can do it in my underwear,” Goldberg said with a smile.

But working comfortably from home was not the only topic the star discussed. She also explained why she continues to co-host the popular American talk show The View, where she has worked for nearly two decades.

Her answer was just as straightforward. “The money is good. That's it,” the actress said. According to Goldberg, she earns well, does her job properly and does not spend too much time worrying about whether viewers agree with her opinions.

Goldberg also pointed out that women in the film industry are not always offered the same pay as men. That is why she appreciates the opportunity to earn a decent salary through her television work. The actress did not reveal exactly how much she makes on The View, although she previously joked that viewers would be shocked if they knew the size of her paycheck.
