Louis Vuitton Unveils Tambour Convergence Mirror Steel: Exceptional Scratch Resistance Meets Mirror-Like Shine

21:21   5 November, 2026

Louis Vuitton has expanded its Tambour Convergence collection with the new Mirror Steel model. Its defining feature is a case made from specially developed hardened stainless steel, with a surface almost six times harder than conventional steel, reaching 1,130 Vickers. This allows the metal to retain its mirror polish for significantly longer, while minor scratches become virtually unnoticeable.

The 37mm case, measuring just 8mm thick, is hand-polished by artisans at La Fabrique des Boîtiers. Each component takes up to three times longer to finish than its rose-gold counterpart. Sandblasted elements add a contrasting texture to the polished surface.

The time is displayed on rotating discs beneath an arched aperture, a signature feature of the guichet design. Inside, the watch is powered by the LFT MA01.01 automatic manufacture movement, developed entirely by Louis Vuitton. Comprising 201 components, it offers a 45-hour power reserve. Through the sapphire crystal caseback, the 18-carat rose-gold rotor is visible.

The model is paired with a grey Saffiano-textured calfskin strap and a steel buckle engraved with the Louis Vuitton name.

The Louis Vuitton Tambour Convergence Mirror Steel is priced at €26,000 — €12,000 less than the rose-gold version.
