Ben Affleck and Matt Damon are teaming up to produce the HBO movie Thirst about the global water crisis Deadline reported Friday.

Ben Affleck and Matt Damon have added another project to their combined slate.

The Oscar winners will produce the HBO movie Thirst, which is set against the backdrop of the global water crisis/

'We are extremely pleased to continue our collaboration with Matt and Ben,' HBO Programming president Michael Lombardo said.

'As two of today’s most gifted filmmakers, they are once again using their cinematic talents to bring awareness to this pressing global issue.'

The project is in development.
It will be written by Charles Leavitt (Blood Diamond) and directed by Elliott Lester (Blitz).
