Multivitamins can save men from cancer

It turns out that the regular use of multivitamins can reduce the risk of cancer for middle-aged men. As reported by Bloomberg referring to the Journal of the American Medical Association, during a 10-year study some of those who were taking part in the experiment were given a placebo daily, and the others were given multivitamins. The study involved about 15 thousand 50-year-old men.

The results of the experiment revealed that those participants who took vitamins were by 8 percent less likely to develop cancer than those who used a placebo. However, one of the research leaders Howard Sesso warned that the results do not allow yet prescribing multivitamins as a means to prevent cancer.

This study refutes the data from previous experiments, according to which the multivitamins and vitamins, in particular vitamin E, cause significant harm to men's health.
