Taylor Swift donates $250,000 to Kesha

Taylor Swift has donated $250,000 to Kesha after the devastating news that she is locked into her contract at Sony, Just Jared has learned.

The 28-year-old entertainer accused producer Dr. Luke of sexually assault and mental abuse and desperately tried to be released from her binding contract, and after the news came in, tons of celebrities showed their support for the singer.

“In a show of support, Taylor Swift has donated $250,000 to Kesha to help with any of her financial needs during this trying time,” Taylor‘s rep told Just Jared in a statement.

Kesha‘s mom Pebe Sebert also confirmed the news on Twitter.

“Taylor Swift has just generously donated $250,000. to Kesha, as a show of support during this difficult time.AMAZING!!” she tweeted. “A persons wealth is not measured by what they have but by WHO they they help with it. And Taylor Swift is is a truly RICH PERSON. Thank you
