Alan Thicke passed away - Robin Thicke is remembering his late father

Robin Thicke is remembering his late father, Growing Pains actor Alan Thicke, in a new interview given following the shocking death.

The beloved actor passed away on Tuesday (December 13) after suffering a heart attack during a game of hockey with his 19-year-old son Carter.

Robin confirmed the death to the Los Angeles Times and called his father “the greatest man I ever met” and “always a gentleman.”

Robin said that one of his father’s final words was a compliment to Carter on a nice shot during their game.

“The good thing was that he was beloved and he had closure,” Robin added. “I saw him a few days ago and told him how much I loved and respected him.”
