16-year-old singer to represent Belarus at Eurovision Song Contest 2019

Singer Zina Kouprianovitch (Zena), 16, will represent Belarus at Eurovision Song Contest 2019. She was declared the winner in the national selection stage in Belarus.

This time Belarus decided to select the country’s representative through an online vote, and a 10-member professional jury chose Zena, who performed her song “Like it” in the final. The singer scored 69 out of the possible 70 points.

“I think the one point that I didn’t receive from the jury is an opportunity for me to grow professionally and give a 100% performance in Israel,” the young performer said. Zena is quite young, but she has already managed to become popular not only in Belarus, but also in Russia.

She started pursuing her career in music at the age of 11.
