Meghan Markle gives birth to baby boy

The royal family officially announced the birth of the first child of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry. The baby was born today on May 6.

“We are pleased to announce that Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Sussex welcomed their firstborn child in the early morning on May 6th, 2019. Their Royal Highnesses’ son weighs 7lbs. 3oz,” the official Instagram account of The Duke and Duchess of Sussex captured the post.

Newborn is the seventh in the ‘queue’ on the throne, after his father Harry.

British media reports that Megan and the child feel good.
