The director of the new Disney animated film ‘The Lion King’, Jon Favreau, revealed on Twitter some secrets of the movie.

“This is the only real shot in The Lion King. There are 1490 rendered shots created by animators and CG artists. I slipped in one single shot that we actually photographed in Africa to see if anyone would notice. It is the first shot of the movie that begins The Circle of Life,” he tweeted.

The new Lion King is a remake of the 1994 cartoon from the Disney studio. The film stars the voices of Donald Glover, Seth Rogen, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Alfre Woodard, Billy Eichner, John Kani, John Oliver, and Beyoncé Knowles-Carter, as well as James Earl Jones reprising his role from the original film.
