Armenia’s representative competes at international music festival in Belarus (PHOTO)

Late in the evening on Sunday, the panel of judges evaluated the performances of the participants in the 22nd International Festival of Arts “Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk 2013” pop song competition being held in Vitebsk, Belarus.   

Young singers from twenty-one countries performed songs in their native language.

At the event, Armenia is represented by The X Factor-Armenia winner Vrezh Kirakosyan, who performed “My Armenian World” by composer Arthur Grigoryan. As a result of a brilliant performance, Kirakosyan tallied a total of 80 points.    

The winner will be decided on Monday evening, and the results of the young performers’ contest will be announced on the closing day of the festival.

The Grand Prix award is $15,000, and the first-, second-, and third-place winners will receive $9,000, $7,000, and $5,000, respectively.
