Hugh Grant supports Prince Harry and Meghan Markle

Hugh Grant commented on the situation over Prince Harry and Meghan Markle who announced their intention to quit the royal duties, The Guardian reported. 

Speaking on Andy Cohen’s Radio Andy show on Sirius XM, Grant defended Prince Harry’s willingness “to protect his family”.

“I’m rather on Harry’s side. The tabloid press effectively murdered his mother, now they’re tearing his wife to pieces”, he said.

The statement issued by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex said they “intend to step back as ‘senior’ members of the Royal Family and work to become financially independent”.
