Employees of luxury brands blamed Gucci, Louis Vuitton and other companies of conspiracy that distorted competition, Bloomberg reported.
The sellers filed a lawsuit alleging that the companies agreed not to hire salespeople who have worked less than six months in the company-participant of the agreement. Thus, the workers could not find a new job.
This was revealed after a Saks employee told Louis Vuitton manager that she is looking for a job.
“We have strict rules that we must follow. I’m sorry,” replied the Manager in correspondence.
