Kim Kardashian ‘freezes’ Facebook and Instagram accounts

Reality show star, businesswoman Kim Kardashian West has decided to ‘freeze’ her Facebook and Instagram accounts as a sign of protest against the spread of misinformation and hate speech.

“Misinformation shared on social media has a serious impact on our elections and undermines our democracy,” Kim tweeted. She has joined the Stop Hate for Profit campaign, which is an attempt to have an impact on Facebook Inc to rule out hate speech on the social network.
