George Clooney expresses hope that peace will be re-established in Artsakh soon

George Clooney, who is an honorary co-chair of the Selection Committee of the Aurora Prize for Awakening Humanity, reflected on the ongoing hostilities in the Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh) conflict zone.

These are unusual times, especially for the people of Armenia, the Academy Award-winning actor and humanitarian said during the event dedicated to the fifth anniversary of Aurora.

He added that they hope and pray for peace to be re-established as soon as possible, and that this is the most important thing they think about right now.
