Renowned Armenian theater actor Yuri Voskanyan dies

Honored Artist of Armenia Yuri Voskanyan has passed away.

Voskanyan was born in 1938 in Leninakan—now Gyumri, Armenia.

Since1962, he was an actor at the Gyumri State Drama Theater.

In 2003, Yuri Voskanyan was awarded the title of Honored Artist of the Republic of Armenia, and the Gold Medal by the Ministry of Culture.
