Lord of the Rings star Ian McKellen gets COVID-19 vaccination

British film and theater actor, Golden Globe and Tony laureate, 81-year-old Ian McKellen was vaccinated against the coronavirus.

"Anyone who has lived as long as I have is alive because they have had previous vaccinations," said the veteran actor.

"I feel very lucky to have had the vaccine. I would have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone," he tweeted.
