Prince Harry to visit his royal family for first time this year

Prince Harry plans to meet his royal relatives.

The Duke of Sussex will leave for the UK to meet his family for the first time after officially resigning from royal duties.

This year promises to be special for the British royal family. Two anniversaries are waiting for the Windsors at once: Queen Elizabeth II will turn 95, and Prince Philip—100. On that occasion, celebrations are expected at the beginning of this summer. Although the Queen's real birthday is in April, the respective celebrations are traditionally carried out later when the weather is better in the UK.

But as a result of the coronavirus pandemic, these celebrations, as well as Harry's visit, are in question. Insiders have reported that the Duke of Sussex wants to leave for London at the beginning of summer.

But his wife, Meghan Markle, will stay in the US with their 1.5-year-old son Archie, "for personal reasons." The reasons are not noted, but those close to the couple told The Daily Mail that Meghan and Harry considered everything in detail, discussing the pros and cons.

An insider said that Harry's meeting with his royal family will be less tense without Meghan. The Queen has  made it clear to her grandson and his wife that everyone will be happy to see them, regardless of the Megxit scandal and their moving to America.

In any case, everyone realizes that if Meghan also meets with the royal family, there will be special attention to public events with her participation; Harry did not want his family to be the subject of discussion.
