The Weeknd boycotts Grammy

Canadian singer The Weeknd in an interview with The New York Times explained why he decided to boycott the Grammy.

He believes that due to secret committees he did not receive any Grammy nominations in 2021 - despite the hit track Blinding Lights and the popularity of the album After Hours. According to the musician, his label will no longer represent music at the Grammy Awards.

The 63rd Grammy Awards will take place on the night of March 15. The event was previously postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
