Organizers speak over Oscars ceremony format

The Oscars organizers sent emails to the nominees speaking about the format of the ceremony in the context of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

Despite the fact that the situation with the coronavirus in the United States remains difficult and unstable, it was decided to hold the ceremony in person, according to The Hollywood Reporter, citing the text of the letter from the organizers.

Those in charge of the ceremony promised a safe and carefree evening in a face-to-face format.

The ceremony was promised to be held in full compliance with sanitary standards.
