J.K. Rowling announces new children's book

55-year-old British writer, screenwriter and film producer J.K. Rowling has announced the release of her new children's book.

According to NBC, The Christmas Pig is the story of the adventures of a boy named Jack, who goes to find his favorite missing toy pig, which Jack considers his best friend. That is, all the heroes are completely new.

Rowling will hit the shelves of Pig stores on October 12th.
