Director James Gunn, who is directing the movie “Suicide Squad”, says he receives death threats from the fans of the series every day, The New York Post reports.

He tweeted the following and posted his interview with Den of Geek: “This morning on Instagram: “This is a threat. If you kill (character name redacted) I will hatecrime you.” Every. Single. Day.”
In the conversation, Gunn also revealed a major character will die: “The first thing I had to do was ignore the potential blowback from killing a character. And it really had to do with the structure of the story, especially when we get into the main part of the film with the primary characters.”
The movie is set to premiere in theaters on August 6 and stars Margot Robbie, Joel Kinnaman and Sylvester Stallone.
